To support the QWG's assessment of the L1b data processed with V7.10 of the IPF, processing of data for 2008 has been requested by GMQ/IDEAS and is in progress.
Mipas L2 Processing News
The L1b products generated so far using V7.10 of the IPF have been received on USB disc by IDEAS on 22 October for further QC.
It has been agreed to pause the L1b reprocessing now after approximately the first third has been completed, to allow detailed QC to be performed by IDEAS/ESL/QWG on the data processed so far and f
The Quality Check of the first batch of MIPAS L1b products (12760) generated with IPF 7.10 has been completed.
IDEAS' QC script has been run at Ifremer on the data processed from 2012. The products for this year are fine and their data quality appears to be nominal.
The status after the reprocessing characterisation run over the weekend of 21/22 September is:
• 2002 data: 1937 inputs / 68 errors
The L0 and ADFs are logged in a copy of the Landsat CM DB, including the mapping from the original L0 filenames to the corrected names.
A processing run was performed on 13 September to characterise the processor behaviour, error rate and processing time when parallelised on the cloud.
The 8 remaining missing L0 files were provided by ESA on 12 September after recovery from D-PAC.
The L0 files have been renamed on 4 September to the expected format using the correct filenames included in the product MPH.
